Scaffolding – Competent Person

This course is designed to assist the attendee with the construction of scaffolding in the proper fashion starting from the foundation and working upward. The course also covers safe practices for: frame scaffolds; tube and clamp scaffolds; mobile scaffolds; system scaffolds and many more. Planking, working platforms and fall protection are also discussed.

This 4hr course covers:

• A general overview of the Standard

• The duties of a competent person

• Design criteria & load analysis

• Inspection of scaffolds

• Hands-on exercises
